Laura's Literacy Coaching was created to fill a neighborhood need after successful summer results with one-on-one tutoring for struggling readers from Kindergarten through fifth grade. Created pre-tutoring surveys, evaluations, pre-and post-literacy assessments; all following the best practices in reading, writing, and tutoring with engaging material for students. Parents and teachers receive confidential student reports with all coaching activities, assessments, tests, data, results, initial goals, final recommendations, and all work generated during tutoring. In 2009 was hired by Children's Therapy Place to create their reading tutoring program
